The ocean view from our room was breathtaking, and the live music at the bar was a fun touch. Unfortunately, the elevators frequently malfunctioned, making it hard to navigate the hotel. The room was cozy, but cleanliness left something to be desired.

The location was perfect—close enough to the beach yet far enough to enjoy some peace. The staff was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to help, making my stay truly special. The indoor and outdoor pools were the perfect spots to relax and have fun!

The room was spacious and clean, but there were significant issues: a broken coffee maker, a malfunctioning hairdryer, and a cockroach sighting. The elevators were a hassle, with only one operational, leading to long stair climbs. A promised microwave was slow to arrive, and the breakfast quality was disappointing. The 18th-floor hallway was in dire need of updates, with an awful smell in the bathroom. There’s potential here, but many aspects need serious attention for a better experience.

The bathroom was a total letdown—small, outdated, and had mold in the sink and shower curtain. Our room was also filthy; the carpet was stained, and the whole place just felt poorly maintained. Super disappointing experience overall.

The room had a fantastic view right on the beach and included a private balcony. The bed was comfortable, contributing to a restful sleep. I appreciated the shower’s excellent water pressure, making mornings more refreshing. Temperature control worked well, maintaining a cozy environment. the room did exhibit signs of wear; wallpaper was peeling, and the carpets felt outdated. Despite the cleanliness being inconsistent, the staff was friendly and attentive. Room service was prompt, enhancing the overall convenience. This location provided a nice escape from the busier areas, adding to the relaxed atmosphere.

Adequate parking. Excellent beach access. Comfortable bed and clean linens made for a pleasant stay. Staff were friendly, and drinks were enjoyable. The breakfast was decent, and the indoor pool provided a nice respite. the property shows significant wear. Cleanliness needs serious attention—holes in ceilings and peeling wallpaper are not acceptable. the smoking policy is poorly managed. Smokers on balconies hinder the experience for non-smokers. Facilities seemed under-staffed, especially in the restaurant. Great potential here, but substantial improvements are necessary to match expectations.

The hotel's prime position at the very North-end of Virginia Beach made my weekend so enjoyable, with the soft sands and gentle waves just a few steps away which was perfect for morning strolls, and it was close to several local attractions like the Virginia Beach Boardwalk only about 3.5 km away and the iconic Cape Henry Lighthouse a little over 5 km away, making it easy to explore; plus, the comfortable rooms and friendly staff added to a great stay, although there were a few maintenance issues like an elevator breakdown that was a bit inconvenient.

the room had stains on the carpet and couches. we also found cigarette butts on the balcony.

Free WiFi kept us connected, we jammed to live music at Surf Club Ocean Grille, and even ordered room service to fuel our late-night gaming sessions. The fitness center was clutch for quick workouts before hitting the Boardwalk on bikes.
One thing though, we wished for a livelier pool scene for our energetic squad to vibe with other party-goers.

Just wanted to chat about my recent stay at the Wyndham. So, here's the scoop: we had a pretty nice room with a partial ocean view, but it wasn't as clean as I would've liked. The walls and bathroom floor definitely needed some attention. On the plus side, the beds were really comfy and the staff was super helpful. One thing that bugged me was the lack of coffee in the room. I had to go out to get my caffeine fix in the morning. And let me tell you, the pool was a bit of a disappointment - it was filthy and definitely needed some TLC. On the bright side, the location was perfect for a relaxing beach trip. The beach was beautiful and not too crowded, which was awesome. The restaurant had great food and the front desk was able to accommodate my request for a higher floor room. it was a mixed bag at the Wyndham. Some things were great, like the comfy beds and helpful staff, but there were definitely areas that could use some improvement, like cleanliness and pool maintenance. Just keeping it real!

The bed and pillows were like sleeping on clouds, and the shower pressure was heavenly. Bonus: great storage options and a handy separate sink area with a fridge and microwave. Located in a quiet spot, within a prime area.
Just a heads up: the property could use a bit of sprucing up – minor things like old socket plates, marks on walls, and a funky smell from the faucet water. The 18th, floor hallway needs some TLC with new windows and carpeting.

wyndham is a cozy - clean spot just off the boardwalk. it's got a good vibe and a great view of the ocean. the staff are ace and gave us top tips for nosh. shout out to ryual and joshua who went above and beyond to make our stay rad.
Would definitely recommend.

The hotel is located right on the beach, offering stunning oceanfront views. The room was meticulously clean, providing a comfortable and pleasant stay. Additionally, the easy beach access made it convenient for relaxing by the shore and enjoying the sun.
There were some issues during my stay. The room appeared to be outdated and had a musty smell.

we had to request a new room due to the toilet not working and an awful smell but the front desk was apologetic and quickly placed us in a different room. the Surf Club Ocean Grille served good food with a full service bar and live entertainment. It was a nice option to have instead of going out. the indoor pool area was nice to relax. Great location away from main tourist area, so less crowded and quieter. Beach was clean, and we liked the option of indoor and outdoor pool.

The in-room refrigerator came in handy for storing snacks, and the complimentary WiFi kept our children entertained. the hotel's Kid's Cove Children's Activity Center provided a plethora of supervised activities that our little ones absolutely adored.
My wife says that having a designated quiet time for families with children would be great.

Gym with cardio and TV, private balcony with sea view, hot tub, indoor/outdoor pools, free shuttle to Boardwalk, beachfront with cabanas.

Our experience at this oceanfront hotel was overall enjoyable. The location was perfect for families like ours, away from all the riff raff of the boardwalk. The restaurant offered stunning views and delicious food and drinks, especially the dirty banana. We loved waking up to beautiful sunrises and spotting ships with our binoculars. The beds were comfortable, and the staff was quick to respond to any issues, like our confusion with the A/C controls.
The customer service left much to be desired. Communication was lacking, with promises of callbacks that never came.
